Destin Seafood Festival

Now in its 38th year, the Destin Seafood Festival is how we show off our gulf-to-table skills. Destin has one of the largest fishing fleets in the country. And if you ever wanted fresh seafood from Florida, this is the one event you want to attend. Restaurants from around the city congregate around the Destin Harbor and sell fresh-made, culinary treats. Plus live music and activities for people of all ages make this one event you don't want to miss.

Destin Fishing Rodeo

October 1 - 31
This month long event began in 1948 and has since grown to be one of the biggest fishing events on the gulf. Fishermen compete in all kinds of categories hoping to win big money and claim that they caught the biggest fish. Not a fisherman? Don't worry, come down to the Destin harbor every afternoon in October to AJ's Seafood where official weigh-ins are recorded. The weigh-ins are a great spot for having a drink and taking photos of some of these incredible species of fish.

Baytowne Wharf Beer Festival

The 9th annual Baytowne Wharf Beer Festival is the most fun you can have on the bay. This event features over 200 American and international craft brews. Beer aficianados will be on hand at each station to answer questions and help you learn about the emerging trend of craft brewing.
